About Dakhla

Dakhla is a year-round destination for wind and wave riding, with two main seasons offering distinct conditions:

  • Warm Season (March to October):
    Strong, steady winds with warm air and water temperatures, ideal for long freestyle and freeride sessions in the lagoon. Perfect for progression and all-day riding in consistent conditions.

  • Cool Season (October to March):
    While wind may be slightly less consistent, it remains excellent—especially for wave riding. This season brings more frequent and powerful swells, with the best wave spots coming to life for kite wave enthusiasts.

Dakhla offers reliable wind year-round, with each season delivering unique riding conditions across flatwater and wave locations.
