Fish Head, primarily famous for scuba diving due to its depth and diverse marine life, also offers opportunities for freediving, particularly in the shallower areas. The reef reaches around 10 meters at its shallowest point, with slopes descending to 35 meters on the southern side. Freedivers can enjoy exploring the upper parts of the reef, where they can encounter a wide range of marine species such as grey reef sharks, fusiliers, mackerel, tuna, turtles, snappers, and surgeonfish.
