Pointe d’Esny is a fantastic kitesurfing, and wingfoiling spot on the south coast of Mauritius. With its deep waters and flat lagoon, it offers good winds but usually works best when conditions are strong at Le Morne. The spot is particularly attractive for wingfoiling thanks to its steady, accessible setup. From here, riders can also join incredible downwind trips with local schools, and enjoy both choppy water sections and perfectly flat water near the reef.

Access to the spot — Limited parking options – accessible by taxi, bike, or on foot

In Pointe d’Esny, the wind is always lighter compared to Le Morne or Bel Ombre. The spot works best when those other locations are blowing strong, around 20 knots or more. From here, you can also start amazing downwind trips-but it’s important to go with a guide, know the area well, and only attempt it when the winds are strong at the other spots.
