The Dahab lagoon is a perfect spot for all levels, offering ideal conditions for various wind and water sports. The kitesurfing lagoon is a 300m x 500m flat-water area that’s perfect for beginners. Windsurfing isn’t allowed here, and you’d better wear water shoes. If you’re an advanced kitesurfer or wingfoiler, you can head leeward to Area 2, where the offshore winds mean you’ll need to use the station’s safety services, like walkie-talkies and lifeboats.
Area 1 is all about windsurfing, featuring a shallow standing zone that’s ideal for beginners and intermediates. Over in Area 2, past the headland, you’ll find consistent winds and shallow waters—great for freestyle and speed sailing. Just a heads-up: kitesurfing here is limited to specific leeward zones for safety!
