Flight from Manila to Caticlan Airport (MPH) or Kalibo Airport (KLO):

  • Caticlan (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport – MPH) is the closest airport to Boracay. Flights from Manila take ~1 hour, followed by a 10-15 minute ride to Caticlan Jetty Port.
  • Alternatively, Kalibo International Airport (KLO) is an option, with 1 hour 15-minute flights and a 1.5-2 hour bus or van ride to Caticlan.

Transfer to Caticlan Jetty Port: A 10-15 minute tricycle or van ride from Caticlan Airport to the Jetty Port.

Ferry from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay: The ferry ride takes 10-20 minutes to reach Boracay Island.

On Boracay Island: From Cagban Jetty Port, take a tuk-tuk (tricycle) to your accommodation. Tuk-tuks take 10-15 minutes to reach most parts of the island.

  • Flight to Caticlan: ~1 hour
  • Transfer to Jetty Port and Ferry: ~30-45 minutes
  • Tuk-tuk on Boracay: 10-15 minutes

Total Time: ~1.5 to 2 hours

  • E-Trikes (Electric Tricycles): The most common and eco-friendly way to move around the island. Great for getting between beaches, hotels, and restaurants.

  • Walking: Boracay is compact and walkable, especially along White Beach and central areas. Many locations are reachable on foot.

  • Bicycle Rentals: Good for short, leisurely rides around town or the beachfront. Available at some hotels and rental shops.

  • Motorbike Rentals: Offers more freedom for independent movement. Best suited for experienced riders with a valid licence.

  • Private Transfers: Available for custom trips or transfers between stations. Often arranged through hotels or local providers.

  • No Public Transport for Spot-Hopping – Traditional tricycles have been largely replaced, and buses do not operate on the island.
