From Seymour Airport (GPS) inBaltra Island to Santa Cruz Island:

  • By Ferry and Taxi: Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
    After arriving at Seymour Airport on Baltra Island, take a short bus ride (5-10 minutes) to the Itabaca Channel. From there, board a ferry to Santa Cruz Island (about a 10-minute ferry ride). After arriving on Santa Cruz, take a taxi from the port to Puerto Ayora, which takes around 45 minutes.
  • By Private Transfer: Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
    Some operators offer private transfers from Seymour Airport to Puerto Ayora, which include both the ferry and land transport. It’s best to arrange this in advance for convenience.

Inter-Island Travel

  • Ferries and Speedboats: Regular services connect the inhabited islands, such as Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal, Isabela, and Floreana. Schedules and durations vary, so it’s advisable to check in advance.​

 

Local Transportation on Main Islands
