  • Rental Car: ~5 hours. Offers flexibility and allows for exploration along the way. A 4×4 vehicle is necessary for the final stretch from Jijoca to Jericoacoara.

  • Buggy & 4×4 Rentals: Best for moving between launch areas, exploring beyond main spots, and navigating sand tracks. Available for hourly or daily rental, often included in guided tours.
  • Motorbike & Bicycle Rentals: Good for short trips along the beach and to different access points. Some accommodations and local shops offer rentals.

  • Important Note: The trip requires crossing a river by ferry. Ferries run frequently during the day but stop at nightfall. If returning after 6:00 p.m., you must take a 10-mile dust road to the main CE-085 highway.
